On the occasion of Richard Serra: Drawings at Fergus McCaffrey Tokyo, on-view through August 29th, please join us for an online discussion with Fergus McCaffrey, art critic, curator, and senior advisor of the Mori Art Museum, Fumio Nanjo, and esteemed international avant-garde dancer, Min Tanaka, as they explore the profound influence Japanese aesthetics have had upon the artist. The Zoom discussion will investigate Serra’s relationship with Japan and re-contextualize his work in the country that, in his own words, “defined his way of seeing.”
