Anselm Kiefer: Solaris - Nijo Castle in Kyoto

Fergus McCaffrey and Kyoto City are proud to present the exhibition Anselm Kiefer: Solaris at Nijo Castle, Kyoto from March 31st to June 22nd, 2025. Anselm Kiefer was born in Germany in March 1945 and he is amongst the most important artists of his generation. This exhibition is Kiefer’s largest ever in Asia, featuring thirty-three paintings and sculptures that will be displayed inside the Daidokoro Building and in the surrounding courtyards.

ファーガス・マカフリー及び京都市は、2025年3⽉31⽇より世界遺産・⼆条城にて「アンゼルム・キーファー：ソラリス」展を開催します。1945 年3 ⽉にドイツで⽣まれたアンゼルム・キーファーは現代で最も重要なアーティストの⼀⼈です。 彼にとってアジア最⼤規模となる本展では、33 点の絵画と彫刻が⼆の丸御殿台所・御清所とその周辺の庭に展⽰されます。
